Dr Izak VenterBVSc, MMedVet(Ophthal) Izak is born and bred in Bloemfontein. He and Antony Goodhead founded the Johannesburg Animal Eye Hospital in 1997. He has been involved with the University tuition since 1997. Izak has travelled to various exotic destinations to perform ocular surgery on a variety of species for example Orang-utan in Borneo. |

Dr Antony GoodheadBSc BVSc MMedVet [Ophth], CertVet Ophth, RCVS Antony hails from Kwa Zulu-Natal originally and together with Izak Venter founded the Johannesburg Animal Eye Hospital in 1997. Antony has worked abroad in the UK and has been involved with the University tuition since 1997. He is a keen outdoor person, enjoys walking, mountain biking, birding and visiting exotic destinations. He is married and has two teenage daughters. |

Dr Lo-An OdayerBVSc, MMedVet(Ophthal) Lo-An is currently working with the Johannesburg and Cape Animal Eye Hospitals. She is also involved in student training at the OVAH. Lo-An has recently completed her research study in African Buffalo colour vision. She is a keen traveler and enjoys the outdoors. |

Dr Christie BoucherBVSc, MRCVS, GPCert(Ophthal) Christie is busy with her post graduate MMedVet specialisation in Ophthalmology. She worked in the UK for 12 years where she obtained her General Practitioner Certificate in Ophthalmology through the European School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies. She enjoys running, cycling, hiking and the Pretoria summers. |
