Fly@UP Aim for a good semester mark

Aim for a good semester mark

One way of working towards finishing in the minimum time is to aim for a good semester mark rather than relying on the exam to pass. If you have a semester mark of 40%, you have to obtain 60% in the exam to pass your semester. Do you really want to take that chance?

Instead, make every opportunity count and work hard throughout the semester. Treat every assessment opportunity (whether it is a test, assignment or project) as if it were your final examination. If you do encounter a few hurdles in your transition from school to university, which is quite possible and rather normal (you are definitely not the only one) click here to see how you could address them throughout the semester.

Visit your FSA if you need guidance in terms of study methods, examination preparation, stress and/or time management, etc.
