Dr Faheema Mahomed Asmail, lecturer at the Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology won the award for best emerging researcher for the Faculty of Humanities in 2017.
The award seeked to recognize individuals who demonstrate a substantial research achievement for the year 2017. Dr. Mahomed Asmail has published over 6 articles in ISI accredited journals and has written 3 chapters in online books during 2016-2017.
