#TuksRugby: Juniors win Gold at Carlton Cup

Tuks Fezelas, U/21 and U/20 took gold on the 13rd August 2016 at this year’s Carlton Cup.

Tuks Fezelas faced the Dragons in a physical encounter with both teams making life difficult for their opponent. Tuks began dominating after they got a great intercepted try. Tuks sealed victory with a 34-22 win against the Dragons.

The U/21 Tuks team were in a league of their own as they scored tries from every opportunity they received to bring the tally to 80 points against the Dragons side. The Dragon lost 82-11 to the Tuks men.

The Tuks U/20 team under the leadership of Head Coach, Dabeon Draghoeder proved critics wrong with their performance in the Carlton Cup. In the beginning of the year the team lost every match they played and were called the one of the worst Tuks teams. They team regrouped and got back into the trend of winning. In the final the team played with lots of heart and beat Naka Bulle 27-22.
