The IRIN is looking for a three-month summer intern who is smart, hard-working, passionate about journalism and humanitarian issues, and wants to be involved in something meaningful.

We are looking for a smart, hard-working individual who can become a core part of a small, effective virtual team based around the world. This is a chance to get plenty of hands on experience and to work with very experienced journalists covering one of the most serious beats: life and death. Interns are considered an important part of IRIN’s operations and are given significant opportunities to grow (IRIN’s current Director is a former IRIN intern!).
