Jean Monnet Chair in Regional Integration and Governance Studies

 

The Department of Political Sciences received a three-year grant initiated under the Jean Monnet Erasmus+ Programme, linked to the Jean Monnet Chair, entitled “Teaching European Integration: Lessons for Africa’s Regionalism 2.0”. The agreement, running from 2018 to 2020 provides for structured teaching of the European integration experience with a view to drawing lessons that may apply in Africa. In 2019 Prof Siphamandla Zondi took over from Prof Lorenzo Fioramonti as Jean Monnet Chair in the Department.
