CLINICAL TRAINING

Clinical training takes place in various clinical facilities in and around Pretoria. It entails an academic (tertiary) hospital, secondary specialist (district) hospitals, primary care (community) hospitals, clinics in rural / semi-urban / urban communities, retirement centres, special schools and private practices. Students treat patients or render a clinical consultation service under the supervision of qualified physiotherapists.

Students provide their own transport to the various clinical facilities.

Formal small group teaching takes place at least once a week.
