The Department has several international- and national research collaborators, visiting professors and one extraordinary professor from Grenoble, France to ensure exchange of quality knowledge. Interactions with the Institute for Cellular and Molecular Medicine, the Institute for Food, Nutrition and Wellbeing, the Centre for Neuroendocrinology, the UP Biokinetics Rehabilitation, as well as the private sector are also undertaken to enhance the objective of student work-related readiness that aligns with the academic sector’s vision. Postgraduate students are encouraged to attend workshops and to present their research at national- and international conferences to enhance their scientific exposure and research communication skills. Research is regularly published in peer-reviewed journals.
