The Theoretical High Energy Physics group is organising the 7th Joburg Workshop on String Theory, which will take place from Dec. 5-9, 2016. The workshop, entitled "Strongly Coupled Gauge Theory, Integrable Systems & Holography", is funded by NITheP and the NRF and will bring together the local string theory community and international researchers to promote interaction and possibly lead to new research directions.
