Outline biography:

Not being naturally endowed with common sense, I need to pursue questions about the world through searching and sense-making in engagement, reading, and writing.

I am presently teaching in the Department of Philosophy, mainly on aspects of social theory and political philosophy.

My research interests, additionally, include the fields of aesthetic theory, psychoanalytic theory, and history of medicine and psychiatry.
