Posted on May 17, 2016

AmaTuks play their final match of the 2015/2016 Premier Soccer League season when they host Lamontville Golden Arrows at Tuks Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Date: Saturday, 21 May 2016

Time: 15:00

Venue: Tuks Stadium, UP Sports Campus

This is a do-or-die match. In their penultimate fixture, AmaTuks drew two-all with Polokwane City at the Peter Mokaba Stadium. The team goes into this final match of the season needing nothing less than a win to stand a chance of remaining in the Premier Soccer League in the 2016/17 season. With their backs against the wall, the team is ready and willing to give their all to ensure their survival in the Premier Soccer League.

There is always a festive atmosphere at the Tuks Stadium during a home match. The spectators will be entertained by a DJ and the Tuks Brass Band, and at half time, three AmaTuks supporters will challenge three Golden Arrows supporters in the Crossbar Challenge, with the winners receiving goodie bags courtesy of sponsors, WorkersLife and 32Gi.

Tickets for the match will be priced as follows:

UP Students: Free

Staff and Alumni: R30,00

Pensioners and children between the ages of 6 and 18 years: R20,00

General public: R40,00

Free tickets for students can be collected from the Student Sports Committee Office at the Roosmaryn Building on the Hatfield Campus or from the TuksFootball Office at the Sport Centre, and will be issued on presentation of a current UP student card. Tickets will be available for purchase from the ticket office at the Tuks Stadium from 18 to 20 May 2016 between 10:00 and 15:00, and on the day of the match – Saturday, 21 May 2016 from 10:00 to 16:15. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.webtickets.co.za.

This match is vital to the team’s bid to continue playing top-flight football and they need all the support they can get from the University of Pretoria family.
