The ‪#‎StripeGeneration tasted their first defeat on Wednesday, 28 January, when Maties beat them by nine wickets.

Tuks had a challenging start to the match, losing opening batsman and captain Murray Coetzee for a royal duck. Things did not improve from there and Tuks were 11/5 after just four overs.

The Power Plus (PP) was eventually forced on the team, who at that stage were at 90/9, during which the team lost two wickets and finished the innings on 82 all out.

Maties reached the target with just one wicket down and more than five overs to spare.

Tuks have their second double header of the week today (Thursday, 28 January 2016). They play against NMMU at 10:00 and then against UWC at 18:00. The match against UWC will be televised on SuperSport.
