GfK Verein and UP Short Courses

The Department of Marketing Management at the University of Pretoria in collaboration with GfK Verein have designed short courses that are to be introduced in 2018. These short courses are structured to address the extensive feedback and input from global industry on skill priorities, from the South African market research industry and its clients and in response to technological trends and lessons learnt from the previous joint programs at the University of Pretoria.
 
The first short course to be presented is a Digital Market Insights and Data Science – Intensive Professional Course. This short course aims to uplift the skills of market researchers and insights professionals, by providing an opportunity to attain the best current knowledge and proficiency of digital market innovation.
 
This particular short course will run over a period of three months, comprising 8-10 contact days. The short course will be delivered by top international academic scholars and industry leaders, who will share their expertise and experiences about how to handle requests from clients, data analytics workflow and project roadmap. From this participants will become equipped with the skill to deliver insights at the highest level. Participants will exit with both practical project experience and a certificate documenting highly sought-after digital marketing research and insight skills.
