A new app has been released that puts all the information students need to successfully navigate their time at the University at their fingertips. The UP iTHUṧE app was developed by the Department of Student Affairs in collaboration with the Department of Education Innovation at the University of Pretoria (UP).

The app will be especially helpful to first-year students during the University's orientation programme, as it contains a wealth of information such as campus maps, contact information for various help services available to students on campus and a calendar of campus events. It also offers a section on frequently asked questions, as well as helpful tips on topics like stress and time management, which might make the transition to student life a little easier for new Tukkies. That being said, the app also provides extremely helpful information for senior UP students who might need a little extra support, and we encourage them to download it as soon as possible. The iTHUṧE app exemplifies UP's commitment to excellence in teaching and learning, as embodied by the adoption of a hybrid model whereby face-to-face teaching is enriched through virtual (or online) learning tools and products aimed at ensuring student success.

The app is already available for download on the Android platform and will soon be available for Apple devices as well.
