The JuniorTukkie partnership with Investec is an initiative of the University of Pretoria dedicated at identifying top academic achievers at high school level to assist them in making informed study and career choices. The JuniorTukkie/Investec partnership explore interventions that are aimed at:
- ensuring that beneficiaries are exposed to meaningful and continuous career guidance to enable them to make informed career choices;
- focus, on capacitating the educators especially life orientation educators on career guidance;
- creating career guidance tools which make a meaningful contribution; and
- career guidance interventions that focus on financial sector related careers.
Investec Work Readiness Programme (2016-17)
The Work Readiness Programme, hosted by Investec Social Investment, aims to assist talented students in their transition from tertiary education to the world of work and to equip them with specific skills as they begin their job search. The week long programme is a combination of theoretical, practical and experiential learning, enabling students to experience our dynamic environment and to acquire a unique combination of skills. Investec bursaries (2016-17)
Investec is offering partial bursaries to students who aim to study full-time towards an undergraduate university degree. The main criteria for the selection of applications are financial need and academic potential. Please click here for the Investec Bursary Application Form.
