New Multimedia Information Site
23 April 2015
In order to communicate what the BIS Multimedia degree is all about, a new Information Site was created for the University of Pretoria’s website. When prospective students Google ‘multimedia’ they may find search results about design or complicated technologies, but this does not adequately convey what a student will learn when doing this course. As a result it was decided to create an info graphic to visually describe the degree. The info graphic will also be available in poster form to use at open day and similar events as well as in a postcard format so it can be handed out to students. The postcard contains the info graphic as well as the URL or QR code that can be scanned with a mobile device.
The website is optimised for mobile browsers and can be viewed on both PC and mobile.
The new Multimedia Information Site can be found at mm.up.ac.za/info. There is also a blog where students can view previous years’ projects and see interesting things happening in Multimedia at mm.up.ac.za. See the flyer below describing the Multimedia course.
