On 14 January this year, Prof Ina Fourie gave a guest lecture to a group of visiting students from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee on HIV/AIDS and information retrieval. The students visited South Africa and the University of Pretoria as part of their studies.This was the fourth time that a group of students from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee was brought to South Africa. The focus of their study was concerning an information campaign regarding the prevention of HIV. They also looked at the cultural aspects that influence the adaptation of information. They visited Pretoria, Mpumalanga and Limpopo and also spent a few days at the Cape peninsula.
