Tuks/hpc Judokas claimed 5 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals in the individual events and silver in the male and female team events at the USSA Judo tournament in Stellenbosch over the weekend (30/09 – 02/10).
Michaela Whitebooi took gold in the Female Individual 48kg category and also won gold in the female open division in the 57kg category.
Dale Whittaker claimed gold in the male individual and male open division 81kg category and silver in the 90kg male individual division.
Special Awards: The Best Male Judoka Award went to Dale Whittaker (four years in a row). Michaela Whitebooi claimed the Best Female Judoka as well as the Lady Prestige Award.
