Submission fees and payment instructions: 2019

As from 1 January 2019 fees towards administrative costs are as follows:

Category A.

For all studies which are merely funded from Departmental budget and/or RESCOM or any other University of Pretoria Grant the review is free.

Category B.

For all research for degree purposes, the review is free (UP students). 

Category C.

If the value of research grants is less than R500 000.00 for a study conducted by non-UP faculty, or by UP-faculty and sponsored by outside grant organisations (e.g., NRF, MRC, NIH, CSIR, ECOG, BCIRG), a reduced fee is charged. (Note: Researchers must budget for these expenses in their grant application.)
