#TuksFootball wants to inspire youngsters through coaching clinics

Posted on December 12, 2017

TuksFootball will be hosting a pre-season Clinic for under-7 to under-12 players from 9 to 10 January 2018 at the TuksSports grounds, this clinic is proudly sponsored by PUMA and PVM.

"The aim of hosting these football clinics is to provide unique, exciting and fun football training sessions that focus on ball skills while creating a great social interaction environment for the boys and girls between the ages of 6 – 12 years.

"We want them to grow a passion and love for the game while also helping the players to learn new technical and tactical skills. It's also a great opportunity for children to make new friends from different parts of the country. Some of the best coaches will be working with the youngsters," said Kabelo Mokoena who is the highest qualified coach at TuksFootball, and runs the Junior programme.

The players will also get the opportunity to meet Shaun Bartlett who is one of the real legends of South African Football.

In his football playing days, Shaun Bartlett has learned to master the art of outfoxing his opponents to score vital goals.  Having scored 28 goals in 74 appearances, he is the 2nd all-time leading scorer (behind Benni McCarthy) for the South African national football team.

He also played for Charlton Athletic from 2000 to 2006 and was one of the Kaizer Chiefs stalwarts.

Every player attending the clinic will get a T-shirt signed by Bartlett who is currently the AmaTuks head-coach.

The cost for the two-day clinic is R650 and includes lunch, refreshments as well as PUMA "goodies".

Online Registration can be done at https://goo.gl/bdJ364 until 7 January.
