Prescribed and Recommended Textbooks data required for the First Semester 2018

The Department of Library Services appeals to academic staff to enter the data for all prescribed and recommended books for the first semester 2018 in the Nevada database.

The database is open from 1 August until 22 September 2017 for your disposal. Once the list has lapsed it will be available to publishers, booksellers and the Library.

Please note the following:

Prescribed titles are books that students need to buy therefor this information will be send to the bookshops.

Recommended books will however be made available in the library. Please note that the bookshops won't receive this information.

It is strongly recommended that e-books should be kept in consideration for ordering as it can be prescribed in line with the University's and the Library's e-strategy.

Please note the due date is 22 September 2017. Please adhere to this date as late applications run the risk of not being available in the bookstores.
