Research seminar: Project proposal and literature review for Engineering students

The Department of Research and Innovation Support, in collaboration with the Department of Library Services, cordially invites you to attend this research seminar.

Presenter: Dr Michael Ayomoh. Dr Ayomoh is a senior lecturer in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, University of Pretoria. He obtained his Master’s degree in Industrial/Production Engineering from the University of Ibadan in 2003 and a PhD in Systems Engineering from the University of Lagos in 2008. He was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the Precision Engineering group, Mechatronics Engineering Department, Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University from February 2013 to December 2014. His research expertise spans across intelligent systems modelling and analysis, autonomous vehicle path planning, complex systems design and analysis, systems optimization, Engineering Management, System Dynamics, Expert systems, lean and advanced manufacturing. He has published several research articles in international journals and peer reviewed conferences with citation indices in reputed scientific databases. He has over the years supervised and co-supervised a number of post-graduate students to completion.

Target audience: Masters students within the engineering field who are in the process of writing a proposal.
