#TuksCricket: England lose to South Africa

On the first day of the Red Bull Campus Cricket Word Finals group matches, team South Africa played against England at the SCC. England won the toss and opted to bowl first.

South Africa lost the early wicket of Gerry Pike (7 from 10 balls) but recovered well and managed to end up on 199/5. Rubin Hermann top scored with 72 from 35 balls while Tony de Zorzi (36 from 33) and Evan Jones (31 from 20) helped the team set the target of 200 for the English.

In return, Lungi Ngidi struck early taking two wickets and had England 23/2 in the 5th over. All the Tuks bowlers put in a massive effort and managed to restrict England to 145/7 in 20 overs. Lungi Ngidi (4-1-16-3) and Thomas Kaber (4-0-18-3) were the top wicket-takers for South Africa.

Rubin Hermann was named Man of the Match.
