This was great preparation for the players for both the NCU Premier Leagued and the Red Bull Campus Cricket World Finals. It was also a great experience for the TuksCricket players to measure themselves against a franchise team and players.

Assupol TuksCricket Head Coach, Pierre de Bruyn, said “We really enjoyed having the Cape Cobras here especially because they had 9 international players like Vernon Philander and Robin Peterson in their team. It was a great opportunity for our young players to compete with franchise players. I was very proud of how our players performed.”
