The Pitta's are internationally known among birders as one of the most gorgeous yet elusive groups of birds which are often only ever seen in ones dreams or on ones laptop screen. Here in Africa were are fortunate enough to have two species of Pitta who call our continent home, namely Green Breasted and African, with African Pitta being the only species of Pitta which breeds within our southern African sub-region.
Join John Kinghorn as he recounts his mission to Mozambique to track down this elusive, most desirable gem of the forests.
