The orientation programme at the University of Pretoria aims to:

• familiarise students with the Campus layout
• assist students with their choice of course and/or field of study
• show students how to compile and read their timetables
• give students an idea of what happens in a typical lecture hall
• assist students with their registration requirements, such as Grade 12 certificates or statements of symbols, preregistration tests, fees, etc.
• introduce students to Campus life, the Student Representative Council (SRC) and its substructures
• help new students to locate places where they should go for help in the event of any crisis.

Conditionally admitted students note that the University of Pretoria will be processing the final 2014 Grade 12 results from 6 January 2015. Please access your portal (MyTuks Login), from 7 January to confirm your final admission status. The University of Pretoria opens on 12 January 2015 for enquiries.
