Making decisions when providing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) interventions can be overwhelming. With so many options available nowadays, not even clinicians with highly specialized AAC knowledge may agree on the solutions. One way to assist with making these complex decisions is to rely on knowledge of normal language development. In this session, we will explore language domains that should be considered, and how to tell if and when we can use AAC to help fill in those gaps. Please see event attachments for more information.
