Aktua is the student organisation to which all Actuarial students (as well as Math Stats students) automatically belong when they register for the BSc (Actuarial and Financial Mathematics) & BSc (Mathematical Statistics) degrees.
Aktua publishes the Aktua Times twice a year and we organise social, sports, academic, charity and career-orientated evenings.
The Department of Insurance and Actuarial Science strongly recommends that students attend these events as it is a great way to mingle/network with students from other years and to pick up study tips and information about a variety of topics.
