On 18 May 2016, Abongile Skosana received the Van Schaik prize for the best Honours student in isiNdebele in 2015. The prize is only awarded if the student with the highest average mark has obtained the degree cum laude. Here Abongile is receiving her certificate from Jacky Duffield, the representative of Van Schaik Publisher, who has a long-standing relationship with the Department.
