INSURANCE

Delegates are strongly advised to make their own insurance arrangements.  The organisers cannot accept any liability for personal injuries sustained, or for loss or damage to property belonging to participants and accompanying persons, either during or as a result of the symposium.

PASSPORT AND VISA

All foreign citizens arriving in South Africa require a valid passport.  In some cases a visa may be required and it is each delegate’s responsibility to acquire the necessary documents for entry into South Africa.  Contact the nearest South African embassy or consulate.  In some foreign countries visa applications should be made no later than three months prior to the symposium. If, for administrative reasons or visa applications, you need a personal letter of invitation in order to attend the symposium, please contact the 6^th SHS Secretariat.  Note that this letter does not imply an offer of financial support.
