Applications

Applications for undergraduate studies are welcome from all interested candidates who meet the requirements for admission as determined in the general selection regulations of the Faculty of Humanities.

Information on the departmental selection procedure and entrance requirements can be found in the Faculty of Humanities Undergraduate Brochure

The deadline for applications is before June 30th of the preceding year and will be subject to a departmental selection process.

In the past, applicants were expected to write tests as part of the selection procedure. These tests, including the NBT, are not required any longer. Applicants will thus be selected on the strength of their academic achievement (Grade 11, 12 and/or the academic record of previous years of study at a university) alone. This arrangement pertains to the Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology only; other departments may have other specifications.

For more information on the application procedure, please contact Ms Naniki Rakolle at [email protected] or Ms Bonga Tshebe at [email protected] at Student Administration.
