Guardians and Representatives

The class representatives are students voted for by their peers who serve as a point of contact between the student body and faculty for those matters that require a coordinated voice.

The class representative is responsible for:

  1. The advancement of a healthy and constructive morale in the class. This includes the handling and solution of problems in the class and nurturing of a professional ethos.
  2. Liaising with the relevant lecturers on behalf of the students.
  3. Participating in interviews with prospective administration personnel on request of the Dean’s office (only final year students).
  4. Expressing thanks to guest speakers on behalf of students.

The class guardians are members of staff appointed to liaise with the class representatives on a regular basis to monitor, assist and advise on student body matters.
