Facilities Management is a multidisciplinary department that has been positioned to coordinate all estate- and facility-related services at the University of Pretoria and to provide these services at the strategic, tactical and operational levels to the complete university community.
The facilities and infrastructure services are developed to enable the faculties and other support departments to focus on the key thrust areas of
(a) being a people-orientated institution;
(b) having excellent academics and students; and
(c) providing appropriate support for the University’s core functions.
The Department of Facilities Management is responsible for the planning, development, maintenance, operations and record-keeping of the University’s growing estate.
The Department of Facilities Management is located in the Technical Services Building on the Hatfield Campus.
